Nobody has to solve this one — it is here to show you how a case works. Edgar Holt, who owned the mill, was found dead in the yard on Sunday evening. Three people were working on the grounds, each of them alone, each carrying one thing. Read it the way you would read a real case, then follow the thinking underneath.
